Welcome to Jeannelle’s Kitchen. I am Jeannelle, the heart behind the kitchen. My love for cooking comes from my love for food, family, culture, and bringing people together around a good meal.
Growing up with Caribbean roots, I learned early that food is more than something we eat. Food tells a story. Food brings people together. Food feels like home.
Some of my favourite memories are connected to the kitchen: the aromas, the seasoning, the conversations, the laughter, and of course that moment when everyone finally sits down to eat.
That is the feeling I want to bring to Jeannelle’s Kitchen.

More than meal prep
I want it to feel like someone cooked for you
I do not want Jeannelle’s Kitchen to feel like just another meal-prep company. I want you to open your container and smell the seasoning before you even take the first bite.
I want you to experience dishes like Jerk Chicken, Poulet Braisé, Jerk Salmon, Pondu, Makayabu and Brown Stew Chicken and taste the love and culture behind them.
And when it comes to catering, I want to create menus that allow people to experience even more of the incredible variety of Afro-Caribbean cuisine.
